Born and raised in Amherst NH, Kurt is truly a New Hampshire Native. In 1998 he moved to the Monadnock Region and has lived on top of Norway Hill ever since. In 1987, he married his best friend, Jennifer, and they have raised two wonderful kids together. Jennifer has always run much of the behind-the-scenes work, and continues to do so.

Inspector Certifications and Training
Home Inspector Certifications and Comprehensive Training Equals Peace of Mind. Kurt has been a member of the International Association of Home Inspectors since 2012. Kurt is licensed by the State of NH as a grade 1 water operator for the treatment and distribution of public water systems. Kurt continues to take courses in the latest home inspection methods and practices.
Community Involvement
Giving back to the community is a big part of Kurt’s philosophy. He has spent 25 years as a call fireman in Amherst NH and Hancock NH, retiring at the rank of Assistant fire Chief. He continues to hold public service roles as a Notary Public as well as a Justice of the Peace.
Lifetime Experience in the Construction Trade
Kurt has been around construction all his life. He learned hard work and attention to detail while working on a dairy farm as a teenager. Right after high school, Kurt worked for a home builder and remodeler. He also shared a partnership in a small business that focused on roofs, decks, and siding through the early to mid-1990’s. He has general contracted the two homes he has lived in and he has managed various construction projects from roads and bridges to public buildings and grounds. He likes old buildings and his last project was the day-to-day management of the renovations on an 1820’s meetinghouse.
